Getting Started - Joining CSPNet
If you'd like to register with us, you'll need to decide which type of registration is the right one for you
Connecting via a Office Code
Office Codes offer a chunk of numbers within a specific range which will route to your own Asterisk or FreePBX Server to be routed to the extensions on your own server. This is CSPNet's most recommended way when connecting to our system as you will have full control when making your extensions and you won't have to continuously open a ticket with us whenever you want another extension
Getting an office code will require you to run your own FreePBX or Asterisk instance, however we may assist you in connecting your Asterisk or FreePBX instance into our network. We highly recommend you join our discord server (its optional) by clicking on the discord option in our header
To get Started, you can either open a ticket with CSP Utilities in our discord server or email [email protected] with the following information
- Your Prefered Number Block(s) (NXX format)
- Your PBX's DNS or IP Address
- Your IAX Port (Usually 4569; If hosted on your own network, make sure your IAX Port is forwarded)
- Type of PBX (Freepbx or Asterisk)
Within 48 hours of you opening a ticket or sending us an email, we will be sending you the boilerplates, and the information required to connect to our systems.
Getting a CSP Hosted Line
If you do not want to run your own PBX instance and would like to get a hosted line instead, you must join our discord server and open a ticket with CSP Utilities and provide us with your preffered extension number, and the Caller Name you would like. Within 48 hours of opening a ticket, our staff team will be giving you the information required to connect your SIP endpoint to our systems
We support these Endpoints for our hosted lines
- PJSIP Endpoints
- SIP Endpoints
- Cisco Enterprise Phones (7800 and 8800 series)
